Early rise for Team Italia, which today, on June 18, has crossed the border between Spain and Portugal.
The final destination for the European leg is Lisbon, where tomorrow morning all participating cars of the 80edays will be loaded on the cargo to fly to Halifax, Nova Scotia. The flight is estimated for approximately eight hours.
While the Portuguese territory has been reached, finding charging stations was a bit more complicated than we thought, especially in Lisbon. Thankfully a nice group of Portuguese electric car drivers (and an electric motorcycle driver) has kindly showed us the way to a charging spot. This is where we have spent a good time with our new friends, exchanging thoughts about this new electric world, and our exciting trip ahead of us.
